Forum Mission

To provide a unique opportunity for Dandie Dinmont Terrier enthusiasts to meet at an informal gathering and have their views heard, whilst listening to others. To facilitate this, there will be no top table, no rigid agenda, the seats will be facing each other and the discussion will be delegate led with an independent Chairman.

Forum Details

Everybody is welcome. It does not matter if you are an experienced breeder of champion dogs or if you are on your very first Dandie. Indeed this meeting will be open to ANYONE with an interest in the breed, even those in other breeds, especially Terriers, will be most welcome to attend. We need to hear as many different points of view and constructive ideas as we can.

The meeting will have no power to pass any binding resolutions, but it will give everyone who attends the opportunity to speak openly and constructively about the breed we all know and love.

Programme

Independent Chairman

I am delighted to announce that our chairman for the Forum will be Peter Eva, Chairman of the Manchester Terrier Club, a campaigner for Vulnerable Breeds, a Terrier man through and through and a good friend of the Dandie Dinmont. It will be Peter’s job to keep the meeting flowing in a good humored “Kilroy” style, to keep the ideas coming and make sure everyone gets a chance to speak.

Unable to attend?

It will still be possible for you to have some input to the forum. Do you have any questions you would like raised? - Do you have any comments to make? - Do you have a statement to be read out? - or do you just wish to pledge your good will towards the forum? - This can be done by email, fax or letter direct to Paul. At the present moment Paul is investigating if it will be possible to receive incoming calls from our absent Dandie friends on a speaker phone during the meeting - watch this space for an announcement on this soon!
